3 weeks since our baby went to heaven
I am happy i found this webpage...I lost a baby boy after fighting for 6 weeks with the diagnose of hydrops...this was in 2007...In 2008 we had a perfect baby boy....now, after the 12 weeks scan showing everything was fine, we came to the surprise at 21 weeks that severe hydrops were everywhere...we decided not to wait and believed the consultant. The baby was not moving at all, she did many scan in 2 different days and he didnt move..and fluids where even inside his brain...Its been 3 weeks now...thankfully we have a 3 years old who is the joy of our lives, but we are so broken hearted. How could it possibly happen again? we are waiting to get results back to see if some reason can be pinpointed this time. Has anyone being there with this tragedy happening twice? thank you so much

I have lost two babies to hydrops. performed many tests however no reason was found. YOu can read my post for the tests we did. Now we are pregnant for the third time. We desparately want a healthy baby.

just reading it again i realized I wasnt clear...first baby we lost at 26 weeks...got the diagnose at 20 weeks and waited for the outcome...now, with this third pregnancy(second one was all fine) we found out the problem at 21 weeks scan. So surreal...we have an appointment in 3 weeks, to see the consultant...although I have a feeling they wont be able to tell us why it has happened again..thank you for reading. It is good to be able to share about our experience with people who can understand.

I LOST MY SON 2 YEARS AGO TO FETAL HYDROPS AT 23 WEEKS AND JUST MISCARRIED MY 3RD CHILD IN DECEMBER BEFORE I COULD EVEN MAKE MY 1ST DOCTORS APPOINTMENT. NO DOCTOR COULD EVER SAY WHY AND COULDNOT SAVE MY BABY HIS ORGANS WASNOT GROWING AT ALL BECAUSE IT WAS TOO MUCH FLUID SO WE DELIVERED EARLY AND HE SURVIVED THE DELIVERY BUT DIED WITHIN 2 HOURS. ONLY MY FAITH AND THE BIRTH OF MY 1ST CHILD THAT I CARRIED FULL TERM WITH NO COMPLICATIONS KEEPS ME GOING BUT MAKES ME WONDER MY MY LAST 2 BABIES ARENOT HERE.

ALL I CAN SAY IS KEEP YOUR FAITH AND KEEP TRYING IF U WANT MORE CHILDREN. IT WILLNOT BE EASY BUT GOD WILL NEVER GIVE U MORE THAN U CAN HANDLE AND BE BLESSED YOU HAVE ONE CHILD SO YOU KNOW YOU CAN HAVE MORE AGAIN
